It's been another busy week with very little time for crafting. I did manage to finish the hand quilting on my traditional star quilt top, so all that's left is to bind it off and it will be complete. Hooray!
I spent some time tonight working out a plan for my next little project... a cross stitch of a proverb I heard on NPR the other day. It was mentioned right as I turned my car on, and then turned my radio off, so I don't know who said it originally or who said it on NPR. I think I heard them say it was an African proverb.
Anyway, I really liked it and thought it would make a nice cross-stitch motif, so I've laid it out as follows:
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
My finished projects almost never turn out exactly like my designs, so we'll see how many changes occur in this one by the time I finish!
